Today is a better day so far. It's nice and sunny and warm out. And I'm wearing my Sox visor to class today!
I'm kinda disappointed that I'm going home tonight. I mean the Sox are gonna be here, they're gonna win, and the party in Kenmore is going to be amazing. Seriously amazing. Last year you could feel the excitment and happy vibes in the air. I want to feel it again. Oh wait...I will...WHEN WE KICK THE YANKEES BUTT NEXT WEEK!
I wonder if they'll do the thing with the Pru again and the lights. That was awesome.
Wait...if I go home then I can watch the game on TV! That would be coolness. I think. Hmm. The game might be over by the time I get home. Maybe I can go home even later tonight. I'm just getting soooo excited for the game!
Last night was so bad. Mike decided he had time to talk to me, and in between trying to bash the Sox he was telling me about this huge gang fight going down on Saturday. That pushed me over the edge and I was sitting here crying my eyes out, so worried about him, telling him fighting doesn't solve anything, doesn't prove anything, he shouldn't do it...and he's like, that's how it is in the ghetto, defend your best friend, blah blah blah. It's just stupid and he's such a smart guy I wish he'd stay away from stuff like that. If anything happens to him, I don't know what I'm gonna do.
Okay I should run to class now. I didn't do the reading and I usually do but whatever. This class is just so....high school-ish it doesn't matter. I mean, this girl makes the dumbest remarks! She said the Odyssey was clearly a huge Jesus reference and didn't understand why everyone promptly laughed at her. Umm hi honey the Odyssey was written way way way way before Jesus was ever born. And then she's like, well are we sure about that? I could have died. I hope this girl isn't an English major.
