Philip is amazing. I wish he lived in Boston. Yesterday we had the best conversation ever and it was about serious and not too happy sort of things. With him though, even things like that can be good. I explained to him my many various thoughts and feelings on leaving BU. He understands completely and supports my decision to the fullest. I really like that in a friend.
I told him of my 'grand tour of the upper midwest' plan, and he loves it! He would even take a day off from work if I came in on Thursday night so we could spend more time together! He might even buy me the plane ticket to Chicago <3. Hint hint.
We even have a special time of day together. 5-6pm est (4-5 cst) is our time to talk. So when my phone rang shortly after 5 tonight I almost answered it saying 'Hey Philip' when it was my mother! Then 5 minutes later when Phil actually calls he's like 'doesn't your mother know that is our time and she must call outside of this hour?'. It was just too cute.
I get attached too easily to people. I've never even met this guy and yet we talk as if we've known each other forever and as if we're the bestest of friends. He could just up and disappear someday. We could have a "falling out" and never speak again (ugh Brad). For now I will savor what we have. And really, I do consider it a huge honor that he thinks of me as a friend, because I know there are people who he parties with and knows in person who he doesn't consider to be anything more than an acquaintance.
Right now I'm working details out about the trip with Dallas...I'm getting excited!!
